Place a Wager

The place_wager endpoint allows users to place a wager on a specific market. This endpoint requires a unique external_id for each request to ensure that duplicate wagers are not placed. If the same external_id is used for multiple requests, only the first will succeed, and subsequent requests will be rejected.

Request Body

external_id: A unique identifier for the wager (string, max length 100, only contains A-z, 0-9, _, -)
line_id: The identifier for the line on which the wager is placed (string)
odds: The odds for the wager (number)
stake: The amount of money to wager (number)
wager_strategy: Optional strategy for the wager, e.g., fillOrKill which will auto-cancel if no match is made in 2 seconds

Responses

200 OK: Wager placed successfully
400 Bad Request: Invalid request parameters
401 Unauthorized: Invalid or missing token
403 Forbidden: User is suspended
404 Not Found: Requested data not found
500 Internal Server Error: An error occurred on the server
